A fashion designer with extensive experience in the Japanese apparel industry. After building a foundation at domestic apparel manufacturers, transitioned into an independent capacity, collaborating with diverse organizations ranging from major corporations to SMEs. Currently working as a designer for an apparel manufacturer, while in personal creative practice, focuses primarily on repurposing industrial deadstock into high-value garments to achieve a seamless harmony between the wearer and their environment through the Circular Economy.

Few Fabrics Cooling Vest by Takaaki Matsuura Human Ambient Design synthesizes high fashion aesthetics with functional techwear; this air cooled vest exemplifies its broader design philosophy. Using premium Olmetex deadstock, the project embraces circular design through thoughtful upcycling. The oversized silhouette is engineered with aerodynamic efficiency in mind, with internal airflow channels facilitating superior thermal regulation. Redefining heat protection, the project offers a functional alternative to conventional apparel, delivering a distinct identity validated by global industry experts and design excellence.
