Sinem Tosunoğlu is an award-winning textile, knitwear, and fashion designer with over eighteen years of experience in the fashion and textile industry. As the Founder and Creative Director of KUFOON Design Studio, she has established a multidisciplinary design practice dedicated to creating innovative, functional, and sustainable textile solutions that bridge creativity, technology, and craftsmanship.

Throughout her career, Sinem has specialized in knitwear innovation, technical outerwear, sportswear, seamless garment development, and advanced textile applications. Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that textiles should not only express aesthetic value but also enhance performance, comfort, durability, and environmental responsibility. By combining material research, emerging technologies, and human-centered design, she develops products that respond to contemporary lifestyles while anticipating future industry needs.

Sinem has collaborated with international manufacturers, textile suppliers, and fashion brands, leading projects from concept development and material sourcing to prototyping, production, and final commercialization. One of her most notable achievements was receiving the ISPO Munich Best Product Award in the Jacket & Vest category, where KUFOON Design Studio ranked among the top four entries selected from more than 350 international submissions. This accomplishment highlighted her ability to integrate advanced textile technologies with refined aesthetics, functionality, and sustainable thinking.

Sinem’s creative process is driven by continuous research and experimentation. She actively explores innovative fibers, sustainable manufacturing methods, circular design strategies, and digital product development techniques. K Marble Flow Performance Wear by Sinem Tosunoğlu-Kufoon Design Studio The surface design, inspired by traditional marbling art, is applied to a high density polyethylene performance fabric. Each pattern originates from handcrafted compositions and is digitally adapted to preserve its organic and non repetitive character. The lightweight, water resistant and wind resistant structure offers durability, breathability, and freedom of movement, creating a functional garment that balances artistic expression with technical performance.
