Lau graduated from the Lassalle College of Arts with a Diploma in Interior Design and a Diploma in Management Studies from The Singapore Institute of Management. He co-founded Orb Associates in Singapore and now we have offices in Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar.

He has over 20 years of experience as an Interior Designer. Within his portfolio are, Mizuho Securities offices, Aviva offices. Prudential Corporate Offices, Safra Resorts and Malaysia High Commission Chancery and Residence in Singapore

Mirabilis Bar and Dusk Lounges and Bars by Lau Chun Hoong Mount Faber Leisure tasked the design team to amplify the popularity of hilltop dining destination, Dusk Restaurant and Bar through the introduction adjective of Iconic. Such initiation would come with a brand new look and feel to the premise (with its stunning seafront and city view) for both the dining and cocktail experience. It is paramount to showcase an expanded professional kitchen with an elevated menu and develop an exclusive hilltop members-only Cigar Room.
