Sinem Halli

I’m an award-winning industrial and product designer, lecturer, and researcher who believes that design goes beyond aesthetics—it has the power to shape more sustainable and meaningful futures.

My independent design practice bridges research, education, and production, bringing together interdisciplinary thinking and material innovation. I work across glass, brand, furniture, accessories and food design, integrating sustainability and circularity into every stage of the process.

I began my journey at Robert College and later graduated in Industrial Product Design from Istanbul Technical University, further expanding my design perspective through an exchange program at Politecnico di Milano. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with Paşabahçe and contributed to the globally recognized NUDE glass brand, where many of my designs have been produced and distributed internationally.
My work has received international recognition, including the IF, German and A’ Design Awards and selection among Design Spirit Istanbul’s “40 Designers Under 40.”

I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. at ITU, focusing on interdisciplinary research in design, AI, circularity, consumer behavior, and child development. This academic journey strengthens my ability to combine creative intuition with analytical thinking, connecting theory and practice through sustainable innovation.

As a university lecturer, I share this mindset with future designers—encouraging them to think beyond aesthetics and create products that hold long-term emotional and environmental value.

I’m passionate about creating designs that are visually compelling, sustainable, and socially impactful.

I welcome connections with brands, studios, and design-driven teams that seek to innovate responsibly and contribute to a more sustainable design culture.
Wooden Wall Art by Sinem Halli

Parawood Verso Wooden Wall Art by Sinem Halli Parawood Verso transforms reclaimed wood into artistic, three dimensional wall pieces using high-precision laser cutting. This process optimizes material use by repurposing positive and negative wood spaces, ensuring zero waste. The frameless design enhances the natural beauty of layered wood, creating depth and movement. More than decoration, it embodies sustainable design, turning waste into functional, elegant art. It can be displayed horizontally, vertically, or combined in different sizes for versatile wall compositions.
