Chatchanin SungChatchanin Sung, a 17-year-experienced landscape architect who previously worked in Thailand, Hong Kong and UAE during 2008 - 2015, and currently works as executive director and director of landscape architecture studio at Arsomsilp Community and Environmental Architect firm, Thailand for eight years, passionate in public service and environmental projects with the strong vision of “Participatory Architecture for Change”
She also has been worked in various kind of projects such as commercial, residential, hospitality, education & institute, master planning, park & public space, etc. dealt with many challenges with problem-based design and multidisciplinary process with other work fields such as architect, engineer, botanist, biologist, hydrologist, contractor, local community, other experts, etc. Benjakitti Forest Park by Arsomsilp Benjakitti Park is located on the site of a disused tobacco factory in central Bangkok. The park's design incorporates wetland and forest ecosystems that deliver services including urban flood management, purification of polluted canal waters, and habitat for native plants and wildlife. The boardwalks and skywalks that crisscross the park are designed to immerse visitors in nature and to encourage them to reflect upon how humans and nature might live in harmony. The designers’ ambition is for the park to demonstrate the potential for nature-based approaches to urban sustainability. |
