Graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Yeungnam University. In 1991, he became the youngest nationwide to obtain an architectural license. In 1992, founded "Shin Han Nam Architects and Engineers," served as the principal architect ever since. From 1995 to 2008, served as an adjunct professor in the architecture department at Yeungjin College for 14 years. Active member of the Korea Architects Association and the Korean Institute of Architects. Daegu Metropolitan City Convenience Facility Installation Citizen Promotion Committee and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority Architecture Committee. Notable works include the Ajin Industry Headquarters, Canon Korea Dormitory, Lotte Aluminum Research Institute, Daegu Airport Parking Building, DYC Headquarters, Kyungpook National University Chemistry Building, Ajin Ceramic Cultural Space, and ACT Tourist Hotel. He has received numerous architectural awards, including the Daegu Architectural Award (2013, 2015), Hudang Architectural Award (2015), and Excellent Architectural Design Award from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (2020).

Pottery Art Gallery Mixed Use Architecture by Young Jae You The Pottery Art Gallery located in Daegu, Alpha City, is designed to maximize versatility for various purposes, incorporating a layout that overcomes the topographical features. The exterior features two distinct masses stacked on top of each other. The lower level consists of public spaces accessible to visitors, while the upper level comprises private research spaces. The design of the courtyard is inspired by the sinuous shape of pottery, opening up towards the outside and enclosing the inner space. This maintains the internal aspect of the courtyard space while adapting to the urban axis.
