About TU, Hui

TU, Hui serves as a multi-dimension designer ranging from architecture, landscape and industrial disciplines based in Taichung City, TAIWAN. Since 2003, TU Hui also holds an associate professor position in academic focusing on the research of design education and corresponding solutions in practice. Enterprises involved in her projects benefit from her efforts significantly. Her vision leads to endless motivation in design approach.

Kanpai Citrus Liqueur by Hui Tu The project team developed the citrus liquor "Kansai" (means Bottoms Up in Chinese) based on the newly developed processing skills to represent its origin Taichung City, Taiwan. The designer expects this brand new product may call for a celebration as a motivation. The geometric images of citrus tankan and ponkan are therefore retrieved as the elements to form the major icons of Kansai packaging design. The texture of citrus skin is presented based upon the printing skills of partial glazing and punching that the branding spirit is delivered efficiently and aggressively.
