With more than 12 years of experience and hundreds of installations, I'd worked with clients from all walks of life – ranging from conventional-build architecture to modern creative lighting applications, from developers to public and government entities, residential, commercial and industrial spaces – covering both indoor and outdoor spaces. Through combining design, engineering and the latest technology in lighting solutions, I aim to constantly improve my capabilities, extending from paper sketches to final switch-on. My vision that integrates into my work seeks to impact lives positively and creating memorable lighting experiences for people.

Haw Par Villa Heritage Lighting by Stanley Tay Wee King Haw Par Villa is a heritage lighting scheme for an 8.5 hectare park in Singapore, built in the 1930s and filled with sculptures and dioramas based on Chinese folklore. More than 20 sculpture attractions are lit, and each one is treated individually so that the details of its story are revealed. A moving light show at the entrance draws passers-by inside, while warm white light of 2700 to 3000 kelvin guides visitors along the paths. As the site is protected by conservation laws, drilling was avoided and custom structures were built to hold the light fittings.

Dalvey Haus Lighting Design by Stanley Tay Wee King Dalvey Haus is an architectural lighting design for a residence in Singapore. The lighting is arranged in three layers. A soft warm glow lights the canopy of the coconut trees. A second warm glow is reflected from the facade wall onto the gently moving pool surface. The surrounding areas are kept at a lower light level. The design uses few lighting points, anchors on the swimming pool and extends outward. Exposed lamp housings are given a gold brass finish so they blend with the sand coloured floor tiles. The aim is a calm setting for residents returning home.

Constellation Retail Store Lighting by Stanley Tay Wee King Constellation is a lighting project for a creative retail store in Singapore. Classic filament bulbs with a diameter of 95 millimetres are arranged at the entrance to add depth and visual interest. Within the main atrium, warm gradient illumination is combined with accent light to highlight architectural features and handcrafted items. LED strips and LED bulbs keep the power demand low. The layout is symmetrical and aligned with the floor, walls, ceiling and glass facade. The light is visible from the pedestrian walk, showing that the store is open.
