With more than 12 years of experience and hundreds of installations, I'd worked with clients from all walks of life – ranging from conventional-build architecture to modern creative lighting applications, from developers to public and government entities, residential, commercial and industrial spaces – covering both indoor and outdoor spaces. Through combining design, engineering and the latest technology in lighting solutions, I aim to constantly improve my capabilities, extending from paper sketches to final switch-on. My vision that integrates into my work seeks to impact lives positively and creating memorable lighting experiences for people.

Haw Par Villa Heritage Lighting by Stanley Tay Wee King Haw Par Villa is a 8.5 ha conservation heritage park in Singapore built in the 1930s. Over the years, visitorship to the park fell steadily due to changing tastes and general neglect. The brief was to use lighting to enliven the stories for the new generation and make them relevant again. As the lighting design and main implementation consultant, Illuminating Asia transformed over 20 heritage artefacts through artful lighting, and made the park welcoming. It's a culmination of electrical engineering, story-telling, lighting design, and problem-solving.

Dalvey Haus Lighting Design by Stanley Tay Wee King The lighting concept seeks to create an emotional sense of peace within the residents, as they return home after a hectic day. The lighting aims to reflect the modern minimalist luxury architecture and build materials applied. The design anchors itself on the swimming pool and extends outwards to the environment. Using minimal lighting points, the space is artfully lit for just the right level of brightness, where one may appreciate the flowing water and trees in the calm evening breeze. The lighting design seeks to touch the inner most of a person, healing of the soul starts from within.

Constellation Retail Store Lighting by Stanley Tay Wee King The lighting design concept aims to evoke a sense of warmth and understated elegance, creating a welcoming and creative atmosphere. An arrangement of classic filament bulbs is placed at the entrance to add depth and visual interest. By blending warm, gradient illumination with subtle highlights in the atrium area, the design gently draws attention to architectural elements, supporting an environment that feels approachable, contemporary, and aligned with the industrial architecture and the creative retail store concept.
