Nahian Bin Mahbub is an award-winning young architecture student from Chittagong, Bangladesh. Besides designing spaces, he is involved in voluntary and social work for many non-profit organizations. Currently, he is working for Simple Action For the Environment ( SAFE BANGLADESH ). Also, he is managing an online shop for architecture students on his campus.

Sustainable Single Family Residence by Nahian Bin Mahbub This is a single-family residence design based on a site in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The goal was to design a sustainable living space in one of the most populated, polluted, and busiest cities in the world. Because of rapid urbanization and overpopulation, Dhaka has very little green space left. To make the residence self-sustainable, spaces from the rural area like the courtyard, semi-outdoor space, pond, deck, etc are introduced. There is a green terrace with every function which will act as an outdoor interaction space and protect the building from pollutions.
