Jaimie Ota is a student/designer who has been fascinated by Illustration, Fashion Design and Product Design. After receiving a degree in Communication Arts and Humanities from Pasadena City College, she continued her education in Visual Communications at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Here is where she became intrigued by visual displays. She has had hands-on experience designing and creating props and visuals for major retail companies. Throughout her college career she has won several academic awards for her creative work. She currently studies Industrial Design at Academy of Art University.

Vadr Coffee Table by Jaimie Ota Vadr is a simple and sophisticated coffee table that adds character to its environment. It is a statement piece that works well in small areas. The most notable feature is the line of bars across the front of the table which were influenced by piano keys. This can be used as a bookshelf or a subtle, concealable storage space. It uses strong linear angles to create an interest to the viewer. The legs and tabletop are unique and individualistic. The legs are specifically positioned to provide ensured stability. It also has a side profile that invokes forward thinking.
