A' Design Bronze Award Winner 2019-2020 in Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Category. Atto Primo Motorcycle by Marco Naccarella Significant advancements to engine design are desired for future motorcycles, automobiles, aircraft, boats. Two fundamental but persistent problems are optimum combustion and operator-friendly operation. Operator-friendly operation preferably includes consideration of vibration, vehicle handling, engine reliability, use of available fuels, mean piston speed, endurance, engine lubrication, crankshaft torque, system simplicity. This disclosure describes an innovative 4-stroke engine that simultaneously provides reliability, efficiency, and low emissions in a single design. Cerberus Moped by Marco Naccarella Significant advancements in engine design are desired for future vehicles. Yet, two problems persist: efficient combustion and user friendliness. This includes considerations of vibration, vehicle handling, fuel availability, mean piston speed, endurance, engine lubrication, crankshaft torque, and system simplicity and reliability. This disclosure describes an innovative 4 stroke engine that simultaneously provides reliability, efficiency, and low emissions in a single design. Nibbiorosso Electric MTB by Marco Naccarella For bike designs, and especially for E-bikes, issues with user friendliness and system optimization remain tenacious. Creating a system that can reliably function in the long run, whilst being easy to operate and modify is crucial within its market. Issues such as torque, system simplicity, battery life, and battery interchangeability, also become issues of in the scope of such projects. Intrigo Hybrid Hypercar by Marco Naccarella Featuring a classic 9,500 rpm V12 engine at its core, and a structurally integrated 400 Kw electric engine to boot, this hybrid supercar was born for driving. The Intrigo features active aero for its downforce and cooling, as well as some of the lowest drag coefficients ever seen on a supercar. Moreover, it features regenerative braking, allowing for extended range on battery use. Lastly, it contains a panoramic sunroof, for minimalist styling with maximum effect. |
