Nimrod Riccardo SapirNimrod Riccardo Sapir has visualized the revolution of what is called today "Micro-Mobility".
In 2009, he started designing a new electric scooter calling it "the last mile solution". Today, a collection of electric scooters and e-bikes are part of the brand named INOKIM, that Nimrod established in 2011, which is professionalized in personal mobility. Sapir has been creative since his early childhood. He grew up on Lego and built his own toys as a child. During his high school studies, he concentrated on drawing and sketching. In 1992 he graduated with merit, a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in HiT in Israel. In his second year of higher education, Nimrod released a line of home furniture items that became the flagship products of a design store in the early '90s. In early 2000, Nimrod was a service provider for companies and private clients. Amongst others, he was a chief designer of "TAGA bikes". In 2009 Nimrod decided to focus on his personal product of micro-mobility which, at the time was called MYWAY. The concept was a breakthrough due to four elements which Nimrod has integrated into his products: 1.using a lithium-ion battery 2.using a brushless hub motor as a form of motorized power 3.using aluminum extruded profiles 4.design of a quick folding mechanism. All this in a well-designed package that has had an impact and is embraced by early adapter users. Ozoa Electric Bicycle by Nimrod Riccardo Sapir The OZOa electric bike features a frame with a distinctive āZā shape. The frame forms an unbroken line that connects key functional elements of the vehicle, such as wheels, steering, seat and pedals. The āZā shape is oriented in such a way that its structure provides a natural in-built rear suspension. Economy of weight is provided by the use of aluminum profiles in all parts. A removable, rechargeable lithium ion battery is integrated into the frame. |
