Pavel Volovov is a professional interior and product designer, graduated from Istituto Marangoni Design School in 2016 and has Master Degree in Luxury Interior Design Collection 2016. In 2018 Pavel was granted Bronze A'Design Award in Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Category by the International Design Academy for the Project Tripod - original table base unit. In 2017 in collaboration with Russian artist K.-A. Taguti participated in the Heimtextil contest in Moscow, Russia and entered in top 10 designs with their project of textile collection called Artstuff. Studio Volovov Interiors is based in Moscow, Russia and involved in residential and public projects both in Russia and abroad. During design process the studio creates made-to-measure interiors with custom made items such as: lighting objects, furniture, finishes and textiles. The essential communication with customers at the key stages of every project, allows the studio to reveal the mindset of the future owners of the space, while preserving necessary privacy through combination of natural finishing materials, famous furniture brands, trending decoration items and objects, produced specifically for each project. Some interiors were published in specialized magazines such as Interior + Design in 2017-2018. Pavel Volovov is also involved in popularization of design by writing design-themed articles in specialized media. The designer is saying: « Design is a contemporary language which helps to satisfy the needs of society. It can be used for cynical manipulations or for pure creativity. The language is an essential tool to evaluate products in different aspects such as aesthetics, versatility, sustainability, expression. »
