I set up my workshop ‘MEE NI DESIGN’ since I was working as an artist-in-residence in London metropolitan university , later after my graduation from MA in jewellery silversmithing &related product in school of jewellery, BCU, UK, 2007. CurrentlyIam AssociateProfessor in Craft department in China Academy of art,China.
My research field is contemporary jewellery ,based on metal technique.Mywork isvisually striking, in form of sculptural and architectural characteristic. between the sculpture and body ornament,thepiece is talking about the aesthetics and utmost.
For many years,I have been active in the international jewelry art stage, have participated in many international jewelry art and design exhibition activities and given many Awards. In 2011, I was named one of the four leading designers of contemporary Asian jewelry designers by Italian jewelry magazine VOGUE GIOIELL. The Nishine jewelry brand was founded in 2015.
