by by by by by by by by by by Sierra Cantabria Wine Family by Estudio Maba Sierra Cantabria is a label design for a family of wines produced by a traditional Spanish winery. The range is wide, so the labels share one visual language while keeping subtle differences between the bottles. Heraldic symbols used by the family for 150 years are combined with a clear hierarchy of typographic elements. The system creates 53 label combinations for Bordeaux and Burgundy bottles. Each label is printed on cotton paper with high relief, stamping and varnish strokes. The intent is a classic and expressive range with a consistent brand image. Paranormal Wine Family by Estudio Maba Paranormal is a packaging design for a family of wines presented in Bordeaux and Burgundy bottles. The graphic theme is based on strange and unexplained phenomena, treated with mystery and irony. Detailed digital engravings recall old books of alchemy and ancient codices. The typefaces are drawn with an aged and imprecise look, similar to manual printing. Each label is made of cotton paper with high relief, stamping and varnish strokes. The design is intended to last and to allow new stories for every vintage or grape variety. Codice Wine Bottle by Estudio Maba Codice is a packaging design for a wine bottle, inspired by medieval codices. Codices were handwritten books made before the invention of the printing press, in which the capital letters became works of art. The label is produced on paper with reliefs and stamping and is applied to a Bordeaux bottle. A sheet of sealed vegetal paper wraps the bottle and carries illustrations of the symbols of the winery. The paper is closed with sealing wax at the top, so the content is revealed only when the wrapper is opened. Plaza del Sol Crisp Bag by Estudio Maba Plaza del Sol is a packaging design for bags of crisps. The graphics draw on folk motifs and souvenir objects found in Spanish tourist cities, and these references are presented in a contemporary way with humor. Each flow pack tells a short story built from souvenir items, with the intention of making the buyer smile. The images are created through still life photography arranged in a set, and the bags are produced by flexographic printing. Each bag measures 195 by 320 millimeters. |
