Dr. Self is Associate Professor of industrial design and Director of the Design Practice Research Lab, UNIST, Korea. He holds a doctorate in industrial design practice (Kingston University, London) and worked for several years within the design industry in London and Sydney, Australia. Prof. Self is an award winning designer, working with his design team located at UNIST for a variety of industry partners. Dr. Self is also a regular commentator for Core77 Industrial Design Magazine + resource, and Editor for a number of academic publications. He teaches, among other design-related subjects, design-driven social innovation, product design and design research skills.
