Serap Korkmaz was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1988. After completing her high school education, she moved to Milan, Italy and studied interior architecture at Istituto Europeo di Design -IED, one of the biggest design schools in Europe. After graduating from IED, her thesis project was exhibited at VIAFARINI / Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro FAP ‘Urban Artists Hotel Roelink. Later she worked at famous architectural firms such as Korkmaz, Riccardo Giovanetti Studio and Studio Mutti Archietti, who took “Hotel Design Education” at Domus Academy. Serap Korkmaz still lives in Milan while continuing her master’s degree in Interior Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design – SPD.
