I am the youngest of a traditional portuguese family was born in 1991, Portugal. My love for designing and arts in general began during the first year of highschool in my classes of Arts: Concepts & Techniques. Consequently in 2010 I left my hometown, Mangualde, to join the Guarda Designing University, my first official step into the design world. After conclude the university I went to work in Porto seeking for experience in to the luxury furniture designing market, my truly passion. By the end of 2014 I have left to start a new adventure, Kalira, my own luxury furniture company back in Guarda. I always believed that the most beautiful things are made by the small details in life, like the flower that forces to open in the Spring time for spread my beauty and seeds. As a further matter is my belief that the most amazing works comes from craftsmanship. That is reflected in my designs by choosing the most refined techniques, that are being forgotten around the world.
