FoodSmith FireWood Oven & Grill Restaurant by Amer Abidi FoodSmith is a firewood oven and grill restaurant located in Amman, Jordan. The interior covers 150 square metres on the ground floor, while the kitchen and service areas occupy 70 square metres upstairs. The design recalls an old blacksmith workshop and is built almost entirely from reclaimed and recycled materials, including lumber, copper piping and cement brick tiles. Every plank, pipe and brick was planned through detailed construction drawings. The result appears informal, yet each element is carefully arranged.
