The project of developing and exploring Interior Design came about in 2009. This was the starting point for the founding of Spaceroom by university friends Mariana Esteves Serra and Rita Valadão Gomes. At Spaceroom the projects created and developed are of the highest quality, keeping the focus on the challenge of differentiation through exclusiveness and commitment extended to each project, translated into the needs and wishes of each client.Apart from the pieces designed and conceived by the studio, Spaceroom frequently falls back on classic and contemporary furniture from the great authors, both national and international, making sure each space is unique and unrepeatable. Each project that carries the Spaceroom signature is made up of details.

William Morris.Mariana Esteves Serra and Rita Valadão Gomes, the founders of Spaceroom, are both graduates of the prestigious Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva School of Decorative Arts, and their vision was to create a studio of reference where both inspiration and creation are bursting with passion for the Art of Interior Design.Their specializations in jewellery and painting add their particular charm to projects signed by Spaceroom. Their creative sensitivity helps them to be one step ahead of the trends and gives each project a personal touch. In their use of various personalized materials, Mariana and Rita incorporate references and concepts of colour and space, setting themselves apart whilst giving priority to the personality and needs of each client.At Spaceroom you will find a multidisciplinary team, including Interior Designers, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, National and International Gallery Owners, Construction Teams, Metal Workers, Wood Workers, Carpenters and Seamstresses, who accompany the projects on a daily basis from its conception to the finalization.
