Naoki Kawamoto was born in Kure, Hiroshima in 1980. He studied Environmental Design in Tokyo later to receive an MA in Industrial Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art, London, and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College. He is now based in Tokyo, and works as a freelance designer working on a variety of projects.
