An advocate of the belief that architecture created is comparable to an emergent poetry arising from the fine application of patterns, generative principals and refraction. Ketan Jawdekar is a born artist who is an architect by profession. With over 19 years of experience in the field of architecture and interior design, his tangential thinking and the abstract approach towards design have won many accolades and have delivered some of the world- class projects.
Having stood second in Shivaji University, Ketan achieved distinction in his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. After graduating he worked with Ar. Sanjay Prasade and later joined Ar. Mickey Chana to gain on site experience along with critical detailing in design.
His academic excellence, qualifications, experience and expertise help Ketan enhance aesthetics and structural combinations. He believes that utilization of available resources ensures work and client satisfaction, a perfectly blended composition. Drawing inspiration from Nature and the strong local context, he has successfully delivered over 10,000,000 Sq. Ft. of ‘fusion’ architectural and interior experiences to the clients’ satisfaction.
Apart from architecture, his interest varies from painting, theatre, acting, direction, photography and mountaineering and has bagged many national awards for the same.
A good design for him is a combination of Desire, Enthusiasm, Simplicity, Innovation, Grace And Necessity.
Ketan was recently chosen as TOP 100 HOT ARCHITECTS OF INDIA and TOP 10 Hospitality Designers of INDIA by Architect and Interiors India. He is the founder and Principal of Studio K-7 that has bagged many international and national awards and accolades.

Sky Bar Roof Top Restaurant by Ketan Jawdekar A fusion of sustainable and Natural Materials with organic pattern in design is a key factor of this design. Kolhapur is known for its rich heritage of art, architecture and culture of India. The suburb of Kolhapur is a cotton textile hub of India. Designers have taken a clue from this local context and have designed the restaurant using recycled Paper Tubes that are used to roll the fabric. It portrays the design philosophy of repetition of a module to generate patterns and textures. One can enjoy sunsets and cocktails while the paper tubes oscillate with the natural wind on the roof top.

Sky Lounge Restaurant and Bar by Ketan Jawdekar Kolhapur is known for rich heritage of art, architecture and culture of India. The suburb of Kolhapur is a textile hub of India. Creating an experience through fusion of sustainable and Natural Materials with organic pattern is the key factor in this design. Designers have taken advantage of natural breeze through to evolve the concept of creating interactive ceiling. Waves formed by the pattern of paper tubes oscillate with the wind that creates drama and interaction keeps guests engaged.
